  Really a superb place to walk on a nice day. Prices aren't outrageous and it's not the kind of place that gets as crowded as say Mount Royal. Definitely worth the trip.

  The arboretum is a good place to visit, a nice green space. It is a nice place to get away from people, development, and enjoy the outdoors. However, my enjoyment is greatly diminished by people who blatantly ignore the leash rule for dogs. Every time I visit, almost every person I see with a dog (probably 4/5) has it off leash, and many let them run ahead on the trails, through the woods, or run right up to you and sniff/lick you. The lack of control of the dogs is a major put off, even for me, who generally likes dogs. I don't think too many people care to have a dog galumph up to you, sniff you, and run off without having the owner so much as bat an eye. If people kept their dogs under control, it'd be a different story. It's not a dog park, folks!
